Seminars with invited guests giving presentations are held mainly on Tuesdays. Work seminars, where invited guests or researchers at the department discuss their work in progress – pre-circulated papers or chapters – are held mainly on Thursdays. Time and location for both seminars are 13.15-15.00 in the Rausing room.
The Tuesday seminars include the research seminar series of the Office for History of Science. These presentations and subsequent discussions are usually in English. The Thursday seminars include a new seminar series dedicated to the history of medicine, one of the department’s more prominent research profiles. These seminars are an integrated part of the general seminary series and are open to all.
