The international workshop "Extraordinary Bodies in Early Modern Nature and Culture", to be held at Uppsala University, Sweden, October 26–27, 2017, issues a Call for Papers. Abstracts for papers (200-300 words) should be submitted no later than June 1, 2017. Read complete Call for Papers.
The workshop is organized by the research programme “Medicine at the Borders of Life: Fetal Research and the Emergence of Ethical Controversy”. The programme is funded by the Swedish Research Council and hosted by the Department of History of Science and Ideas at Uppsala University.
